I am a trained bagpiper with a performance background that includes solo prizes at Highland Games such as Inveraray, Roseneath Peninsula, Cowal, and Blair Atholl. I have performed with ensembles including the Royal Air Force Halton Pipe Band, Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band, and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Pipes and Drums, and was the first member of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland from the Far East. I am available to perform at weddings, ceremonies, and private or corporate events, offering an authentic Scottish musical experience.
Nothing enhances a special occasion more than the sound and presence of a Highland bagpiper. I am available to perform at a wide range of events, including weddings, church services, Burns Suppers, product launches, sporting occasions, Christmas and Hogmanay celebrations, and other formal or private functions.
If you would like to hire a bagpiper for your event, please feel free to get in touch for a quote.
I offer private tuition and workshops for individuals, schools, and organisations. Lessons can be tailored to different levels and goals, from foundational technique and repertoire building to competition preparation and musical development.
For those pursuing formal qualifications, I can facilitate accredited piping examinations, including pathways recognised within the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, as well as London College of Music examinations where applicable. I am an approved assessor and can conduct accredited examinations in Scottish bagpiping at all levels. I also accept invitations to adjudicate competitions and performance events.
I have performed internationally in both solo and ensemble settings, appearing at Highland Games, formal ceremonies, and public events.
